ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Officer – Leads and contacts data is responsible for ensuring data quality, lead tracking, and reporting as well as proper integration in the CRM (existing or future). This role combines technical expertise in data management with a focus on marketing campaigns and it includes the support to data migration in the future CRM. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in data coordination, and capable of supporting the commercial team with outputs of Marketing actions available through the CRM.

Main Responsibilities:

Leads data and tracking

  • Register and maintain clean, complete lead and contact information in the CRM from all marketing and commercial actions like events, webinars, website inquiries, affiliate requests, and campaigns, including membership contacts.
  • Use market research tools (e.g., Global Data, CRM, LinkedIn Learning, Apollo) to compile prospect lists with accurate contact information.
  • Monitor and track lead progress, conversions, and follow-up activities in the CRM, ensuring data consistency.
  • Support managing a lead scoring system to prioritize leads effectively, enhancing sales team efficiency.

Data Quality, reports and dashboards

  • Implement CRM best practices to improve data accuracy, integrity, and system utilization.
  • Conduct regular data audits and clean-ups, verifying and updating contact information to ensure targeted and precise outreach.
  • Recommend and help implement CRM enhancements, such as workflow automation, custom reports, and dashboards, to improve team productivity.
  • Stay informed on CRM technology trends, recommending appropriate system improvements and process innovations.
  • Be part of CRM Evolutions: CRM Leads, accounts and contacts testing, data collecting, data quality improvement, data deduplication, data import into a new CRM, etc.

Data Extraction & Reporting

  • Use tools like Power BI to extract data and generate reports on lead performance, campaign impact, and engagement metrics.
  • Assign, identify, and update leads’ info in the master file for every campaign and action.
  • Share insights with the marketing team, providing data-driven recommendations to refine lead-generation strategies and enhance lead quality.
  • Collaborate on post-campaign analysis and reporting to deliver comprehensive performance insights.
  • Provide perspectives to help with Salesforce implementation.

Sales Support

  • Ensure all sales materials are accessible and updated within CRM and SharePoint, distributing these resources to the sales team as needed.
  • Develop familiarity with existing service and product offerings to support sales enablement.

Marketing Officer Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and relevant data segmentation for targeted messaging in campaigns.
  • Extract and validate CRM data for performance reports, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Support in setting up and maintaining a robust lead scoring system within CRM to prioritize outreach effectively.
  • Support team members by providing CRM training, best practices, and data management procedures.
  • Assist in creating and implementing automation workflows within CRM to improve the lead generation process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in extracting, formatting, validating, and analyzing large data sets.
  • Experience designing, building, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality data sets in a lean manner.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Knowledge of CRM best practices, data management, and industry standards.
  • Experience with CRM platforms is a plus, especially considering the candidate will be involved in the integration and alignment of Salesforce CRM.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent education or experience.
