PLG is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of MI Officer who will be responsible for managing and disseminating accurate medical and pharmaceutical information, responding to inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating closely with the Pharmacovigilance (PV) team to detect and report safety concerns.

Responsibilities:

Medical Information Management

  • Responding to Inquiries: Handle requests for medical, pharmaceutical, and consumer information through various channels (phone, email, etc.). Provide accurate information based on customer requirements.
  • Creating and Updating Standard Response Documents: Develop and maintain standardized documents to provide accurate and consistent information on the company’s products, ensuring that common queries are addressed efficiently.
  • Documentation: Record and manage cases in both paper and electronic formats, in English and Polish. Ensure all managed calls are documented in the appropriate tools.
  • Literature Reviews and Evidence Synthesis: Conduct reviews of scientific literature to gather relevant data on the company’s products. Summarize and disseminate this information to ensure that all medical communications are evidence-based.

Compliance and Regulatory Support

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all information provided aligns with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Vigilance Detection: Identify potential safety cases during interactions, and escalate them to the appropriate team.
  • Data Transfer: Ensure accurate and timely transfer of relevant data to the Pharmacovigilance (PV) team for further analysis.
  • Pharmacovigilance Support: Collaborate with the Pharmacovigilance team to monitor and report adverse events or side effects associated with the medical products.

Group 12
Experience:

  • Diploma in Sciences (Bachelor’s, Master’s 1 or 2)
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to handle stress and maintain empathy in interactions
  • High level of accuracy in documentation and quality control
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, particularly with the Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information teams
